South Suburban Parks and Recreation plans to upgrade Foxridge Park

February 5, 2019

South Suburban Parks and Recreation (SSPR) is planning to renovate Foxridge Park playground. South Suburban is applying for an Arapahoe County Open Spaces (ACOS) grant to leverage funding for construction. The City of Centennial is a funding partner. If South Suburban receives the grant, construction at Foxridge Park will begin in late summer/early fall 2019.  See proposed rendering.

Foxridge Park playground improvements include:

§  Separate play areas for 2-5 year-olds and 5-12 year-olds

§  Rubber surfacing and engineered wood chips

§  A slightly larger shelter, including new picnic tables and drinking fountain
